I keep returning to clean the pool! If your image has been removed it is because it does not fit here.This group is about urban places or built environments that have been designed or evolved as car free. I have removed a lot of land and seascapes which were all very nice pictures but distinctly off topic for this pool. Please do not be offended. It is not that I do not like your images - but not here!

About Places without cars

Images of cities - and other human environments - where the car is not just absent, it is NOT ALLOWED.

We need to recapture our spaces that have been taken over by cars. Some areas are more proactive in this field than others. North America lags behind the rest of the world. But I think that a key factor in establishing urbanity is getting in the way of the cars. Or not allowing them in at all.
