About Place Portfolio

in a fast changing world and in the age of information highway, places and events change quickly, and without proper recording of events facts will be easily distorted or even lost.
photography is one of the most important ways of recording history. Every photographer is a historian, they record the history all the time and without knowing it. The photos we take today are tomorrows history record, and that is the group's aim.
it is all about archiving and putting together the records we make every second.
the group is to archive the commons that we already have but might not be there, or might change in the future.(including but not exclusive to Buildings, Streets, and Very important events).
in the near future the Place Portfolio should end up as a library for all the photos that represent and show the identity of different places. in the far future the Place Portfolio should turn into a historical record for a lot of places, showing their development over time.
