About Picture with Bible verse

The Objective: To present that the Bible is the word of God!

This group is to promote the Bible as the Word of God, inerrant, infallible, no mistakes, will not return to God (Elohiym) void, through flickr site, called Picture with Bible verse, using the art of Photography.

The Bible. The meaning of the name. From the Gk word biblion, which means a scroll or little book, derived from the word bibloV, biblos, commonly denotes writing. But then biblos’ meaning is: the inner bark of the papyrus plant, the cellular substance of it’s stem. Any book whose leaves were made from this bark. Regardless of its material, biblos is the first word of the Greek New Testament (Matt. 1:1). See also, Luke 3:4; Mark 12:26; Acts 1:20. Near the end of the first century or the beginning of the fifth ( approx. 400AD) Jerome, the eminent church father and translator, called the Bible “the Divine Library” (Bibliotheca Divina). About the same time the Greek Christian writers began to call it “the Books” (ta Biblia), above all other books, the plural indicating the series of records of divine revelation. Later in 13’th century, this neuter-plural became changed into a feminine-singular (biblos). Thus it came to be known as “The Book” of books. The word passed into modern languages of Europe, and Anglicized the Greek word, the Bible, the pre-eminent book.

The Passage: II Timothy 3:16 to 17
I.The Subject: All Scripture.
II.The Statements: 1. Is given by inspiration of God.
2. Profitable, for doctrine
for reproof
for correction
for instruction in righteousness.
III.The Purpose: In order that the man of God may be,
1.Perfect,
2.thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

“Thus we see that God not only superintended the writing of the words of Scripture
so as to secure strict accuracy, but He also breathed life and power into the Word so that it became a living Word.” Hebrews 4:12

The message is “from God to us”

wfelimoV - wfelew, to assist, to be useful or advantageous, to profit, (profitable)
elegcon - elegcw, to convict, refute, confute, with the suggestion of the shame of the person convicted of crime, of crime, fault and error of sin. By conviction to bring to light, to expose. Show one his fault, to chasten and/or to punish.
epanorqwsin - epanorqwsiV, restoration to an upright or a right state, correction or improvement. paideian - paideia, the whole training and education of children (which relates to the cultivation of mind and morals, and employs for this purpose now commands and admonitions, now reproof and punishment). exhrtismenoV - exartizw, to equip or furnish completely.

Note 1: Scriptures to be used will be based ONLY according to
"The Gradated Implementation of the two Philosophies of translation. "It should be under the category of FORMAL EQUIVALENCE TRANSLATION. It could be either the "Extreme" Equivalence Translation or "Formal" Equivalence Translation.
The "Dynamics ET" such as NIV, TEV, ESV and NEB are not acceptable.
Especially those under the category of "Paraphrase" such as Living Bible, AMP, JPS, CEV 1965, GWT 1995, LB 1979, The Message 1993, NCV-New Century Version 1991, NLT-New Living Translation 1996 are not acceptable and are prohibited.

Note 2: The word inspiration from the original Greek Text (Textus Receptus) is Theopneustos, a compound word from "Theos" means God and "Pneustos" means spirit or wind. Thus, the "theopneustos" in this verse, means, "God-breath" "God-spirited" God-inspired"
the same power that God (Elohiym) breath to the dust and created Adam!

The backgound picture should be non-offending to the basic principle of the Bible itself.

The "Picture with Bible verse" submission should be primarily a picture with either a "verse" on it or a verse written under the picture.

King James Version, NKJV, RV 1885, ASV 1801 USA, NASB are the most accepted version.

Anyone who wants to join and be a member should submit at least one Photo with Bible verse.
Anyone who joined without submitting a "Picture with Bible verse" whose intention is personal and no relationship to the Objective of this site which is to promote the Bible as the "word of God" will be remove immediately without explanation.

This site is a Total "Evangelio" the continuation of the "shout of the Reformers" as they say..."SOLA SCRIPTURA"!!!!!
