This is group is to help celebrate a monumental occasion for the great city of Pittsburgh... our 250 year anniversary!

A wide assortment of activities will be taking place over the next year to celebrate this fantastic city in Southwestern Pennsylvania. And when you add a year packed full of activities in a great city, this equates to some great opportunities for photographers.

So this group is to share information about events related to the 250th celebration, to share stories, and of course share all of the great photos related to this celebration.

Please tag all photos related to this topic and photos posted to the pool with "Pittsburgh 250"

Photos in this group can include (but not limited to):
- Citywide activities
- Personal events that you or an organization that you are apart of have created specifically as a part of this celebration
- Creative ways that the 250 is being celebrated in Pittsburgh

- Photos of how you are celebrating around the world

It is my goal that this becomes a fun and very interactive site for a great time to be a Pittsburgh resident.

• Raise awareness for the career opportunities for one of the world’s great centers of innovation
• Celebrate a sense of community that today is all too rare
