KUMUSTA! Welcome to the PinoyCentric Group on FLICKR. This is a place to share interesting your photos from around the world. Whether you're a pro or an amateur this is the place to showcase your best images of our people and culture - your own unique view of being a Filipino no matter where the diaspora has taken you.

THERE IS A LIMIT OF 14 PHOTOS a member can upload EACH WEEK so make sure to pick your best shot.

Filipinos as well as friends and visitors are welcome.

We have pros and amateurs, young and old photo enthusiasts.

How do threads work?

Threads are discussions on topics directly related to PinoyCentric (submissions, events, tech issues and general website housekeeping). Let's keep it pleasant. NO POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS or PERSONAL DISCUSSIONS are allowed. These topics are already amply covered elsewhere. If a thread is deleted, it has crossed the line. The same goes for offending photos. If you're not sure, ask the Admins before posting or starting a thread.

There is a limit of 2 threads a member may start within one week.

The PINOYCENTRIC Photo Pool

Our group aims to feature unique images of the Philippines, our people, culture, events and celebrations. To keep our content fresh, try to avoid posting the same pictures in other groups.

Language

Because this group may be visited by friends from abroad, we urge everyone to include English captions as a courtesy.

What's ACCEPTABLE in the group pool:

Your best shots of relevant images showing Filipinos and the Pinoy lifestyle, here and abroad. Your vacation photos are cool but post only the best, not your whole album. Remember, this is not your personal gallery but a community site.

What's NOT ALLOWED in the group pool:

(1) Nudes - We respect your creativity BUT - this is an all-ages, all-sensibilities pool and we aim to keep it all ages safe. PG-13 is just about right.

(2) Photographs which were not taken by you. Copyright infringement is a serious offense. Do not copy/use images without permission. More info is available @ Creative Commons. Antique and archival prints are exempt from this rule. Kindly cite provenance whenever possible.

(3) Photographs deemed exploitative, offensive and/or damaging to any person, group, race or religion.

(4) Strictly no adveritising or linking to commercial/porn sites. Its not allowed on FLICKR. You can be banned from the site.

PinoyCentric.com does not give monetary compensation to submitted photos used with permission. However we provide standard link and attribution to the author.

This group is also subject to FLICKR's Community Guidelines.
