About pinhole fridge cam
Does the light really switch off when your fridge is closed?
Let's check that and do some weird conceptual art by placing a little pinhole camera in it. Every time the fridge gets opened there will be a little more exposure. Document your household and wonder how often you visit your fridge each day (and that now it's even more fun than before to do that!).
This is how it works:
First you have to get a little pinhole camera. Generally you can build it of a lot of things, like little boxes or candy cans for example. I used a quite popular one for 35mm film made of a matchbox. This tutorial is pretty good, for more information you can also have a look in the Matchbox Pinhole group on flickr.
Then you place your camera in your fridge with the pinhole looking out of it. If you're afraid it could get moved around there you an tape it on the back wall or something.
If somebody opens the fridge now, the film will get a bit exposed and document this activity. I left mine there for 24 hours by using a 200 film. If you have a big family or open your fridge a lot you might take a 100 film or a shorter time. Anyway, color films are quite gracious, so a bit more/less light shouldn't be a big problem here.
Post your photo in the group! You can add as much pictures as you want, as long as they suit the topic.
Invite more people and help making this a movement! :)
