About Pimp my Pixels

Pimp my Pixels is a group for pixel pushers who like to process other people's pictures. Here's how it works: Members post pictures to a new thread for "pimping;" these pictures are then downloaded and processed by other group members. Once pimped, the pictures are uploaded to flickr and posted to the group pool for feedback, love and fame!

To share the largest photo for prospective pimpers under the NEW FLICKR viewing method is below.
1. Click on "Share this" above your photo.

2. Click on "Grab the HTML"

3. Select (using the drag method with the mouse) the portion in purple in the photo below (from http to … _o.jpg) and paste that link in your request.



CONTRA-WISE

If you copy and paste the ENTIRE link of the largest in your request a PIMPER should be able to drag and drop to their desktop AND the size won't be any larger than how the photos shows in your stream.

While this is purely a fun group where members can meet and learn and try new things, it is nice once in a while to be able to give a fellow member a 'pat on the back'.

With this in mind we now have 3 fun Awards that you can give to those special pimps that hit the spot... maybe they take the pic to new heights of beauty, maybe they add an amazing new theme or concept to a photo, or maybe they just have you rolling on the floor laughing your head off.... whatever the reason, pick one of the following awards and add it as a "well done"
