Pwede bang palitan ang title ng entry #17?
Proposed New Title: 8 0n 8 - Pero Kulang Ang Bilang!?
simply to reflect the true and honest reality; yung nasa pinaka-itaas, pito lang yata eh? The bead wasn't mine, it belongs to a fellow passenger. Maraming-maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat!

jerrico, ok lang na 56 entries. in the poster, *still being made* we didnt mention 88 anymore. for those who fail to email their hires photo, we will just grab the highest resolution that is accessible in flickr.
hi chris, in photoshop, select cropping tool and set dimensions to 8 x 10 inches at 300dpi and crop.

Cropping in PS.
Option 1.
Open image in PS. Press F8 to open info palette. In info palette, click the small arrow beside the plus sign then choose unit of measurement to inches. Select cropping tool or press [C]. Enter the value below the menu-width, height, resolution. Then drag the cropping tool as desired in your image. PS will interpolate as needed.
Option 2 (preferred).
Follow option 1, but do not enter any value in resolution to avoid uncontrolled interpolation. After cropping, from image menu, select image size. Look at resolution. Here you will see if you image has enough resolution, if the image has resolution below 300 you are going to upsample, if the image has more than 300, you are going to downsample. Either way check the resample image below the dialog box and select from the drop-down list-bicubic sharper. Click ok, sharpen the image if you desire. Use "Save as (command from file menu)" jpeg, choose maximum quality when prompted by a dialog box to ensure quality of the image.

BTW, allow me to add this, assigning Adobe RGB(1998) profile in PS. I will assume that most images are in sRGB. Use convert to profile from edit menu. in "destisnation space" select Adobe RGB (1998) and make sure that in conversion options, adobe engine, relative colorimetric, and use black point compensation are all selected.

Hello everyone, as of this morning, I only received via email, 39 out of 56 entries. For those who didnt email, i will try to grab the highest resolution possible in your stream. I will be sending the files to digiprint by midday for printing.
Ingress/installation is at 10pm on Tueday, October 14. I will try to haggle for an earlier time. Those who are available, please come.

MVI, i just grabbed it from your stream. i didnt receive it. thanks
I'm sending the photos to digiprint for printing. apparently 2 back-out without any warming, their photos were removed from the stream. too bad, to think that some people wanted to join the contest.
anyway, good luck and thanks to everyone, see you next week!

@chanonymous: Considering that the thread stated "The first 88 pictures to be posted automatically become part of a photo exhibit x x x" and you submitted photo #43, ( see www.flickr.com/groups/pilipinas/discuss/72157606592922183/ ) we presumed that you wanted to be part of the exhibit. As some participants failed to e-mail their entries on time, we grabbed the photos from the respective Flickr streams. Photos were accorded proper attribution.
We are sorry if this caused you any inconvenience.
