About Picture Book (The KinKs)

The group is for photos that reflect the titles or lyrics of the many Kinks Albums or Singles, this must be obvious or explained in the description.

As a lifelong Kinks fan, I searched flickr for the Kinks and found a group called

"The Village Green Preservation Society" its aims were

"Photos which illustrate or echo songs by the Kinks, from the obvious like 'Waterloo Sunset' to the 'Last of the Steam Powered Trains'. Titles or lyrics, specific places or images the songs create."

I really liked the idea but the group didn't seem to be working out. So I started my own version but I must thank the other group for the inspiration.
