Monthly Theme (October): "Go Pink" (WINNERS Announced)

Each month, we have a "monthly contest" highlighting various Picnik tools, and it is your opportunity to show us what you can do. You may enter up to 3 "before/after" photos and on October 20th (or thereabouts), everyone will have a chance to vote on their three favourites.

Please number your submissions based on their position in this thread. Please post "small" size only The quickest way to do this is to paste the URL to the photo page inside square brackets [URL] (or use the before/after HTML from picnik)

Please also add your "after" photo to the group pool.

This month our theme is "Go Pink".

As you may know, October is internationally recognised as "Breast Cancer Awareness Month" and we'd like to use this month's theme to highlight our support for this cause. As such, we've added two special "pink" effects .. the "Go Pink" (an easy way to pink-tint a photo) and "Frame it Pink" (a quick pink frame including the Pink Ribbon). You'll find these at the top of the Effects list (on picnik.com only). You are welcome to use these effects in your creations, or go "free form" and do your own thing! ;)

So, your task this month is to Go Pink with your images. Please create images to show your support for the effort to raise awareness about this terrible disease.

As an additional incentive, Flickr/Yahoo are donating €1 (up to €30,000) for each pink-themed photo that is added to the Flickr Pink 2008 group (read the Flickr Blog for more info), so if you'd like to join that group and add your photo there as well, your entry will help raise money at the same time!

We'd like these themes to be a fun way for you to try new ideas, so please try to use new "edits" rather than digging through your stream for oldies. Feel free to use older photos that you want to "give new life" or take new photos; either is acceptable.
