Want to edit photo in flickr, Macromedia Flash?

I went to edit a photo in my photostream, clicked the Edit at the top of the pic, and instead of the easy to use Picnik editing tools, across the screen reads that I need to install Macromedia Flash.
What is this? something new for Picnik? Or is this flickr?
I went to the forum, saw nothing on this subject, but did find you guys!
I liked Picnik the way it was, soooo easy to use!
If anyone replys, please use "english" I don't speak "techie" :D
Thanks!

Hi, Picnik has always required Flash to work. You will need to install Flash by clicking on the link that is shown and choosing the installation for your operating system.

OK!
But it is odd, that up until recently, I would click edit, the gears would turn, the "planting flowers, buttering bread" would come up, and when it was loaded, I had a toolbar above my photo that allowed me to click on what I needed, usually "Create", where I found vignettes, borders, etc.
That's what has me baffled, I purchased the Premium months ago,
and all of a sudden this came up, I was wondering if it was linked to flickr now accepting video...
Thank you for your response, Brenda! I appreciate!

Are you using the same browser as before? Maybe you somehow uninstalled Flash since the last time?

Let us know if you still have problems after reinstalling Flash.

I think I am having a similar problem now, instead of loading it tells me to either go to www.picnik.com (which just sends me in a circle since that's where I started from) or to download the latest version of Flash -- I did d/l it, and reboot, but it's still doing the same thing.

Hey all - this is troubling that a number of you are seeing it suddenly. Can I ask you to tell me what browser and OS you're using? There must be a pattern... :)

Thank you! - Charlie, Picnik.com

Also, have these problems happened when you upload a photo from your computer? Right now, as long as I have the photos on my computer and not using one of my archive CDs, I am only able to upload photos from my computer to edit in the Picnik website. I cannot use the Edit Photo option above a photo in my photostream and also cannot call up a photo in my photostream into the Picnik website to edit, save as a new file on my computer, and upload to Flickr.

Just wanted to say I resolved my problem -- had to uninstall Adobe Flash and hen reinstall the latest. The update didn't work until i had uninstalled the current one.
