Round One.
Discussions over Laksa at Happy Chef led to a challenge being issued: Craft a pair of chopsticks that can be used for both chopsticking and slurping – or Chop-Straws, if you will.

Three pals Richard, Aladar and dL pitted their skills while the coaches egged them on (and made sweet carry-cases for the entries).

But there could only be one winner. After Al and dL drew 3 votes 3 and Matthew Newton (who was walking past at the time) failed to break the tie – London was called and Nickle officiated.

Final decision: Aladar to win.

Mel presented him with a medal she secretly had made and Rich and dL – while happy for their friend – couldn't hide their disappointment at not wearing the shiny thing.
