It's more fun when photographers travel in packs. This is the place where we can organize photo roams in the KW region, and also display the fruits of our collective efforts.
The photoroam group started in July 2005 with just two people: Martin and Opal. Tudor decided to tag along one day and the group soon grew to include dozens of other wonderful people and their cameras. Our photoroams became a way for us to get together, laugh with each other, and improve our photography skills.
New to the group?
All you need to participate is a camera and a willingness to come out and take pictures. If you know of good places that are begging to be photographed, just leave a suggestion in the discussion area.
Event Index Rating NEW! - All Photoroam organizers must include a rating of 1 to 3 on their events to indicate physical ability levels to the activities.
In other words, attendees should be aware of the condition they should be in and the equipment, other than a camera, they need to participate in an event:
1: no effort at all, easy stroll (for example, Victoria Park).
2: pretty tame, but the event might include some spontaneous off-track stuff or fence climbing
3: urban spelunking - wear appropriate clothing & shoes. This event is not for the faint at heart
