About Photo Art Non-Square (P1/C2) Quality over quantity, please...
Hi! Would you like to be a co-admin in this group? Just send a mail to the group admin and tell about your motivation to become an admin and you'lle get to our small but established group of artistic photography in non-square format.

All artistically qualified photography in non-square format (roughly between 6:7 and 2:3 ratios, preferably not near square to keep things clear) are welcome and please, no frames. Group is moderated to keep up the quality and if your picture was rejected it doesn't mean the picture isn't good, it just didn't fit the group's profile which ultimately is defined by the group admin.
Group is safe to moderate in flickr.com's safety levels, meaning some nudity and adult themes are accepted within general consent of artistic quality and good taste.
Some outlines for the pictures welcomed to this group:
- Yes: creative, artistic, explorative, high quality eye on any subject, moment or scene, whether everyday or unusual, human or inanimate. Subject preferably recognisable to some level.
- No: just plain (snap)shots with very little or no artistic edge (flowers, portraits, buildings, pets, etc.), fully abstract work, heavily edited, too "digital" work. In subjects definately not welcome: violence, cruelty, smoking nor any substance abuse, porn, nor comparable subjects to these.
- Note! No square crop here, there's another group for that.. Photo Art Square (Post 1 - Comm 2, Please).
- Be fair to others and comment their work in constructive sense whenever you upload yours. Do not just upload and run, ok? :)
- If you have questions about these rules (or the group), you're always welcome to ask admin(s).
- If you do not agree or have problems with these rules, please skip this group and enjoy your day in any other flickr group instead! :)
