Members are encouraged to submit a few things per day. The objective of the group is in part to solicit meaningful constructive technical or artistic comments and criticism from other members, with the aim of learning how to take better photographs. In your image description, request critique if you want it. Also, photo can be shared here just for the simply joy of doing so. Photos submitted here are fair game for frank (but not mean) comments. Experiment, challenge, explore, make mistakes, discover - help create a vibrant community. Photos can be of anything anywhere (including your worldwide travel photos), but the emphasis is on either (a) photographers located in or near Morro Bay, CA on the Central Coast of CA, USA, (b) photos taken during a visit by visitors to Morro Bay, CA., or (c) anyone interested in Morro Bay, CA (we love lurkers and dreamers too - many people dream of moving here someday to retire). It is especially fine to add photos from nearby locations such as Oceano, Pismo, Avila, Los Osos, Morro Bay, Cayucos, Harmony, Cambria, Ragged Point, etc. Local photographers traveling around the world can certainly add those distant photos here, as what we are trying to facilitate is all of us in the area getting to know one another's work. Photos added to this group will likely receive comments on technical excellence, suggestions for improvements, etc. Of course, this is a family-oriented site (under 18 OK), and so absolutely no photos that violate the Flickr terms-of-service related to indecency will be tolerated.

Members of the "photomorrobay" Yahoo! Group at groups.yahoo.com/group/photomorrobay/ are especially invited to submit photos to this Flickr Group entitled "photomorrobay"

A photographer who is not a member of the Yahoo! Group can also submit photos to this Flickr Group, but you will have more fun and become better integrated into our informal community if you also join the Yahoo! Group. Since Yahoo now owns Flickr, the integration between these two entities is seamless.

Here is some convenient cut-and-paste code to assist inviting people and photos to our group.

I admin the photomorrobay Flickr Group and invite you to add this Morro Bay-related image to our select collection there for critique or the simple joy of sharing.

Join our photomorrobay Yahoo! Group if you'd like to interact with about 100 other photographers interested in the Morro Bay, CA area - get there via our gateway.
