About Nick's Photo Hunt
More new stuff: The winner each week will have their photo used as the Group Icon. If you have any problem with this let me know.
Clarifications: If you are a member of the group, your vote counts. You don't have to enter the competition to vote.
Also, if you enter and don't vote then one vote is removed from your score
Appropriate leeway should be given for any members ahead or behind GMT. I'll be considering it, I hope others will too.
Every Tuesday a new photo hunt begins with the selection of a target word or phrase by Nick, which will be posted as a new discussion topic.
Hunters then have until the following Monday to create and submit a single image to the group pool. Only images taken during the week will be accepted. I'm trying to think of a clever way to stop people faking EXIF/timestamp data but I haven't come up with anything yet, so I'll just have to trust you.
Monday is judgement day, when hunters should select their favourite image by adding it to their 'favourites' list.
The winner will be the image that most people deem to be their favourite, and can bask in the glory of being awesome for a week - as well as having their picture used as the group icon.
