this is NOT a general photography group, neither is it a general Blythe group.

what?:
» this is a photography interest group specifically with Blythe (dolls) as the subject
» this group is invite-only therefore your request to join may or may not be accepted
» this is not a Blythe photo dump so please only upload best photos
» try not to upload too many photos from the same series, pick the best to share with everyone
» photos that are unsuitable will be removed without notice

how?:
here are the general criterias to join our group:
» love Blythe
» own at least one Blythe (petite Blythe is ok)
» love photography
» take good photos of Blythe*
» you must have samples of your Blythe photos in your Flickr account when requesting to join the group

faq:
I love your group and I want to join, why won't you let me because I don't own/can't afford a Blythe?
This is to reduce the possibility of spammers. I'm sorry but I don't have the time to moderate all the photos. I can only wish Flickr will add a view-only member category in future.

I fit all the criteria, why am I not accepted?
Do you sell Blythe or Blythe related products or services? If I suspect that you have the tendency to plug, I may not accept your request. Otherwise, it may be due to the next question, read on.

It's been days/weeks/months, why haven't I been invited to the group?
Check that you have nice Blythe photos in your stream or I may have been too busy to clear the pending requests. :x

Who decides if my photos are "nice" or not?*
This is my group and the answer is me. I take the effort to re-visit your Flickr album every now and then to see if there are any improvements and may accept your request to join the group at a later time. (How's that for commitment?) I'm not a professional photographer, it's a personal benchmark and trust me, it's not that stringent. There are tons of photography tutorials online that will help us and inspire us to take better pictures. Don't blame me if you don't make the effort. Last but not least, there are many people who join this group because of the "quality" of the group. If this is not your cup of tea, there are many other Blythe Flickr groups around.
