About Photo Commons

We will talk about and organize projects around the opportunities and issues around sharing photographs.

This group is the Flickr presence for the iCommons Photo Commons node.

We will try to organize workshops, tutorials and discussion about the following topics:

- freesouls - making portraits available online under free licenses so that Wikipedia articles and other things that require photographs of people have images available to them.

- moral, model, property, privacy and other rights that are involved in taking and sharing photographs.

- licensing

- tools, techniques and services

- how-to and tutorials
