I'm excited to see what everyone brings.
Ann has a challenge up to everyone to make a print-a-week to learn the relationship between what we see on screen and what is printed. Great idea to get involved with in the next several weeks before Photocamp.

I am hoping to see some discussion about what to share. So many people have different talent and perspective.
Interesting to see what some people come up with. The important thing is to get involved!

I'm still not sure how I'm going to put mine together. Whatever I do, it will probably be simple (no damask patterns in the background for me).
I'm thinking about taking some new pictures
or maybe posting pictures of the same kid as they aged (one of mine or a client)
Maybe show a few pictures with wide angles and some with telephoto (because I'm a telephoto junkie that wants to push myself to do more wide - showing a little of what I currently do next to what I want to do)
or I might do something completely different. Still undecided!!! It will be portrait work though. Hey, I have that part figured out!

Is there a size suggestion for this? 11x14, 20x30, etc?
Are there restrictions on how they are presented? Must be matted? No frames? No glass?
Is it good or bad to have everyone in the same size/presentation? Giving everyone equal opportunity to stand out.
Could I possibly ask more questions?

those questions are answered in the link above (Print Montage Requirements): www.photocamputah.com/montage.html. It even covers stuff you didn't ask.

Display method is going to be totally lofi. Think slightly more techie than a clothesline. ONLY slightly. No frames, no glass, nothing heavy.
It's how we can keep Photocamp at $15, friends. Next year, if you want frames, someone can step up and sponsor some thousands of dollars to rent display walls. Until then, let's not get too serious about this. Just bring something to share, maybe even trade. Go home with something different than the one you brung.

Dang- wish there was some more seats going to be open so I could go. Still on the waiting list and it does not look good. Would love to have a print at the camp.
