About A Photo A Week Project

Pick an outdoors location and take a photo there (in the same spot) each week, on the same day of the week if you can. The purpose is to watch the seasons and settings change over time. Post those photos here as you take them each week. So get landscape-y!

Need an example of what we mean? View my set for this project.

REQUIRED: Tag your photos with "a photo a week project" or "a photo a week" or something that makes it obvious you intend the photo for APAW. Even better, if you can (not required), create a set for your photos.

Also, please title photos with the date they were taken

Please feel free to introduce yourself to the group and tell us about you and your chosen location.

(If you've already been doing a similar project, feel free to post your previous shots up to five at a time.)

Inappropriate photos or photos that in no way appear to fit the scheme of the group will have to be removed by administrators. This also includes:

-- macro photos: they do not show enough of the surroundings that we may see seasons changing, etc.
-- indoor photos: through your window is fine but the photo needs to be of outdoor things.

* Also, as of April 13, 2006: If a user submits one photo (their first to this group) but does not submit a second within two weeks, the first photo may be removed. If you believe your image was removed because of this, please resubmit your first image again, followed immediately by your second so we know you mean business about the group/your location. Make sense?

If you are at any time unsure about any of this or have a different idea you'd like to try with this group please post in the forum first to ensure your images aren't removed.

The rules here are plainly stated and anyone can ask for help either by posting in the forums or FlickrMailing the admins. So if you post an image that's not acceptable, there's a chance you could be removed from the group. Repeat offenders will be banned.
