About The Challenge Group

Welcome to the challenge group
We were formerly the 'Photo-a-day May 2009' but have now turned ourselves into a group that runs regular challenges.

Feel free to join in the challenges at anytime, most of them from now on will be at our own pace and within a specific time frames but of course are always open to extension and even if a new challenge is set you can still continue and contribue with the old for as long as you wish and have completed.

Your photos can be of anything (within good taste- not offensive) that if relative to the current challenge we have going.
Photos can be edited as you wish but you cannot add anything into the photo that wasnt there when you took it.

Please post only photos for the challenges. We understand if you cant get on to post everyday so if you need to catch up thats ok, just post your photos when you can. Try to aim for at least once a week so you dont get too far behind.

You should "tag" your challenge photo with the appropriate tag given in each challenge theme thread and also title your photo with the name of the challenge also.
Adding a description to your photo is useful also, perhaps explaining what your photo is about, why you decided to photograph it, what it means to you, along with any other information you think is helpful e.g. how you edited it or your camera settings you used.

If you are a beginner (or even pro) feel free to start topics with any questions you have or any advice you need, this is a learning group and hopefully we can help each other out while doing this project.


**It is desirable (but not required) that for every photo you post that you leave 1 comment on another persons photo in the pool, Everyone loves to recieve comments so remember to give them too**
