About American Horticultural Society Photo Contests
Congratulations to Lisa Riley for winning our April photo contest! This hens and chicks (Sempervivum tectorum) in Massachusettes proves that some plants aren't very picky about where they like to take root. A plant's gotta grow where a plant's gotta grow!

Members of the American Horticultural Society unite!
Okay, even if you're not a member of the AHS, you are still invited to be a member of our Flickr group.
Join us in our monthly photo contests, upload your horticulturally-related images to our group pool, and join discussions on gardening news.
Every month we ask our Flickr members to enter our new photo contest. Our administrators will select our favorite to feature in the next AHS e-Bulletin!
Please don't hesitate to invite any Flickr members with impressive photos depicting gardens, horticulture, nature, botany and plant science to join. To help you get started, you can copy and paste the following comment code:
The American Horticultural Society (AHS) would dig your photo!

Please consider posting this image in their March contest.
It should end up looking like this:
The American Horticultural Society (AHS) would dig your photo!

Please consider posting this image in their March contest.
As an added incentive to join contests, the AHS will include your winning image in our Hall of Fame gallery, and add it to our Flickr Favorites.
To start receiving the AHS e-Bulletin, send your name and e-mail address to newsletter@ahs.org. You can opt out at any time and we never sell or distribute your e-mail address to anyone else.
