Really good idea. Thanks for all your efforts to keep this group as interesting as it is. Top of the line...
Here are two pics to promote Sweden =)

"Strykjärnet". The most famous building in Norrköping, Sweden. Got is name from the shape as an iron, but it is not really visable from this picture.

Borgholms Slott. A picture from the old castle in Borgholm, on the Swedish island Öland.

Deciding the "best" pics is a bit difficult for me. Sometimes the quality is really good and therefore the pic could be described as being one of the best ones. Often though, it's the story behind the pic, i.e. why I wanted to take the pic, that places the pic amongst the best ones. Oh well..
Here's the first one:
#5

The pic was taken November 2003 in Ivrea, Italy with Nokia 6600. The quality is not that great but I just like it because it's very mystical.
Second one:
#6

Chose this one because it was a sunny and lovely spring day. Taken in April 2007 in Hyde Park, London, England with Nokia 7373.

Only had my Nokia N95 for 3 weeks, but here are my recent pics.
This sculpture represents making its way through the centuries to the ‘Bilston Oak’ which represents the future. The Horse and Rider are located close to the Lunt Junction roundabout, along the Black Country Route.
#24

and for my second shot is this very unusualsculpture made from fifteen lengths of Sweet Chestnut wood and measuring up to six metres in height, the sculpture is a nod to the area's steel making background.

Pick two? Ouch... well, if pressed:

...because it's so insane to have been able to actually get out of my car and take this picture in the middle of a *very* busy Swiss highway. And this one because I like the expressions:

Both I probably wouldn't have been able to take with a "regular" camera, as it wouldn't have been ready to shoot ;)

This colourful picture of a ferris wheel at one of the local Chilbis here in Switzerland was taken with my N73.

But I confess, I preferred the pictures I took with my old Sony Ericsson w810i, like this of my son and me.

The problem with picking my two favourite phonecam pictures is that my phonecam has been so many wonderful places with me and captured so many beautiful memories. Too many to pick from for too many different reasons!

We find most of our members are putting up their photos in medium size. To be fair to all, we have increased some of the photos to medium size. But there are some which continue to remain small, since there appears to be no facility to increase the size. [Those who have small photos can increase the size to medium if they wish.]
The moment we reach 80 photos, we are going to vote. All members must vote for photos other than their own photos. They should give their first 3 rankings. Like 8, 15, 37 or 5, 17, 52....
We will announce the voting once we hit the magic number of 80.

Well, we've got 53 shots. We need to touch the magic figure of 80 and then we vote. It's great when your photo gets rated as No.1. It's equally fine to be rated as No2 or No3. The feeling of pleasure is unforgettable, I assure you.
So come on, friends, and chip in with your best ones.

How do we get our members activated?
I thought we would touch 80 by 6th November...but it doesnt look like this will happen.
Im keeping my fingers crossed!
Hope we touch 80 entries by 10th November, at least!!

Dear friends, we have had to close this thread because the size of the photos is quite large and it is taking an awfully long time to scroll down to the last photos. That is why we wanted small photos. Now voting is open to the members till 15th Nov. You may vote for the top three [exclude your photos please!].
For example:
5
8
11
That order means: 1st, 2nd, 3rd.

I would also request that due weightage be given to the shots posted in small size. In fact had we received shots in small size we could have covered even 100 photos!! By posting medium size shots we have had difficulty downloading this page! And we've had to close this thread for posting further photos.
However, voting is open for 5 days till 15th Nov 07!
