The Philly Minds are a collection of Philadelphia based creatives, whether it be Advertizing, Design, Video, Interactive or Architecture agencies, coming together for a good clean, albeit full-tackle bowling league. We gather for 13 weeks every season in the name of Willie Penn at North Bowl in Northern Liberties. Why? Well, over the years vast amounts of time and energy are devoted to getting whatever project out on time, thus leaving us with little to do socially besides talk to our fellow workers as the clock strikes 9, 10, 11 pm. Thus, the idea was born to force people out of work by 5:30, and drinking with other industry types by 6. Long Live the Happy Hour, may she bless us with her beer-laden bosom.
