About Philosophers & Philosophy
This group is dedicated to photography of contemporary philosophers and philosophy - at universities, seminars, conferences and inevitably, parties too.
For the benefit of all, please put the names of the philosophers pictured (and their university affiliations) in the description or comments field of the photo. Also its best if you check if the philosophers in question are happy to have their photos made available online! It'd also be great if you could be a bit selective in what you add to the group - 4 or 5 photos of the same speaker at the same talk is probably excessive (the same philosopher at different events is fine). For some guidance on the kinds of photos at home in this group, look at my posts (Gerard Vong) to the group. At the outset, the stream is likely to Oxford-centric as I'm currently based in Oxford, but I hope that other peoples' additions will make it more well rounded. That, and I'm moving to the US soon!
Photos that don't meet the guidelines will be removed - there are, after all, many many groups on Flickr that cater to all sorts of images!
