The Philadelphia Grid Project is a long term project which will attempt to photographically document the city of Philadelphia. Each month we will set out, individually, to photograph a pre-assigned area of the city. The subject matter is of your choosing. The only requirement: the photograph must be made within a pre-assigned geographic location. The following month, the group will assemble with the results of it's' efforts and select one image per photographer to be added to the archives. The "grid concept" was born in Portland, OR and operates under the title of the Portland Grid Project.
Membership to the group is currently closed. We meet on a monthly basis and space and time are a concern. The group may consider new members at the end of the year.
