About Phenology & Photography

Greetings and welcome!

This group is administered for participants of the seasonal LCFPD program "Phenology & Photography". This outdoor photo workshop combines a staff naturalist's insight with technical tips from professional photographer Chip Williams. Held once each season, this program will continue to be held at a variety of sites as we highlight Lake County's seasonal occurrences.

We'd love for program participants to share their images with each other to encourage group discussions. This is also a great way to help each other with site suggestions and species identification.

Submission guidelines:
- Photos should have been taken during a LCFPD Phenology & Photography workshop.
- Photos should be at least 400 px in the longest dimension at 72 dpi. Larger is better.
- Please tag each photo with the name of the forest preserve where it was taken.
- Please tag each photo with "Phenology & Photography", as well as the date of the appropriate workshop.

Thank you for sharing your photos. We'd love to have your photos as part of our general LCFPD photostream as well.
