About Pittsburgh Strobist
A meeting place for Pittsburgh based photographers to post photos, discuss all things related to off-camera lighting through the use of flash units, referred to as strobing, particularly with relation to the Pittsburgh region. I hope that this group helps provide a great learning environment for those looking to explore the exciting world of off camera lighting.
This is intended as a regional off-shoot of the strobist group:

and is in no way intended as competition, but rather as a way for Pittsburgh strobists to connect, without clogging the message boards at the bigger site.
It is highly recommended that you be a member of the Flickr strobist group.
Please don't post pictures here if you are not a Pittsburgh based photographer.
Also strongly encouraged to put as much information into your photo descriptions as possible about your strobist technique (ie. lights used, settings, diffusers, deflectors, position of lights, etc). This is especially true for photos that you post to the group pool.
