Weekly challenges designed to bring out the platinum photographer in you! We run a few weekly themed challenges and assignments, prompting you to either take new photos or submit some from your portfolio.
Pull up a chair at the bar, pour yourself a cool one, kick back and relax.
We have a few rules:
-- This is a family friendly group. As such, only safe photos are allowed.
-- Please post only small photos to threads, unless the opening posts asks for medium.
-- Please do not open discussion threads.
-- Use the chat to discuss just about anything on your mind.
-- Keep it friendly; remember, all types of people are here; abusive posts may be deleted and abusive patrons may be 86'd (removed) from the bar.
-- Have fun! Invite your friends and visit us when you have the time.

What's on tap?
Winners of our challenges and special features will be invited to post to our group's pool.
Otherwise, patrons are allowed to post two photos to the pool each day.
All times are approximate! Better to not plan on last minute entries! All challenges start and end on Mondays at 11:00am Mountain.

The Weekly Challenge:
Take new photographs, centered around a theme. The bartenders will award the best photo.
The Top Shelf Challenge:
Submit your photograph, centered around a theme. Patrons vote on the best photo!
The Weekly Scavenger Hunt:
Take new photographs of 5 items. When you post your finds, announce which photograph in the post above yours deserves the award.
The Bi-Weekly Assignment:
Every two weeks, a different patron will present a clinic on a specific type of photography or technique. They will be on hand to answer your questions, as well as to award the best new photograph taken for the assignment. You can also sign-up to host your own presentation!
Find the best photo from the person above you:
Each week, a new thread with a theme is posted. Go through the photostream of the last person who posted and find their best shot in that theme and post it to the thread.
The Boasting Wall:
Got a terrific photo that won a number of awards from other groups? Did you make Explore this week? Show off your stuff in this thread, but please wait for someone else to post before posting another shot. Don't forget to leave some comments on other people's photos, too!
Continuous Improvement:
Need some feedback? Here the spot to post your less than perfect images.
Just offer one way the person above you could improve their shot then wait for your feedback. It's a great way to share the creative process we all go through expanding our talents.

A weekly glimpse into the photography of one of our patrons. Every Friday.
Hidden Gems:
A weekly retrieval from our patron's streams of some overlooked but stunning photographs. Every Thursday.
