The photo that receives the most votes wins the challenge, that player is awarded Immunity for the week, and their team will earn 1 point.

The Dancers will state the number of the photo they prefer along with a reason for their choice.

My choice is for #1.

This one is very difficult for me. The 2nd photo is a grand wide angle shot, which shows the majesty of the red train, is a unique perspective, and is very entertaining. However, the colors seem so muted to me -- a little white balance adjustment would make this shot the stand-out by far. I'd even go so far as to call it a Brackets winner if only the color had more punch.

The first photo simply has better lighting, and the off-center red boat facing a slight swell generates some visual interest. Perfection would have been reached by cropping out most of the sky and placing the horizon on the upper rule of thirds. But the lighting on the boat does it for me.

I'll be honest, had the light rocked more on the train, it would have had my vote nailed.

I prefer #2

I really like the unique perspective and the detail of the railroad sign.
I feel small looking at it and the paint color is an added bonus.
I also think the geometric shapes of the windows adds another degree of interest.

I'm sorry to say I find picture #1 a bit boring. Yes, it's two boats, and they are red, but a part from that the picture really doesn't do much for me. Also - I can't really see BIG in it. It's just boat-sized.

The second picture is much more interesting, and it also illustrates the "Big" part better. I like the angle, and the clean lines on the train. The bold red together with the yellow and black makes it an interesting shot.

My vote is also for #2.

While I like the composition and rich colours in both shots, the perspective in the second shot gives me a better sense of BIG than the first shot does.

My Vote is For #1

This one was a tough one for me. I like both, but there is something about #1 that I like better. The darker boat in the front is a nice contrast to the brighter red boat in the back. To me this shot defines the bigger picture.
#2, the colors are great, but I think it was the fact that I didn't know what the photo was of at first. I would have preferred to see more of the red on the side of the Locomotive. That to me would have made it the "bigger" picture. I only see a small part of it here.

This is a default preference I have to say. I like them both but neither of them scream BIG/RED to me for some reason. #1 seems less red because of being lost amongst the waves. The light in #1 is superb but I love the angle in #2 more.

It has an original point of view, looks a bit like it was taken from under the train (eep!) The colors are enjoyable even if, yes, somewhat muted, and the number sign stands out nicely. #1 is ok, and having grown up by the sea I usually enjoy shots of sea life, but there isn't enough to keep my interest here and the red doesn't stand out enough to quite work for the theme either.
