A “Conspiracy of Fun” art contest presented by Paul Frank Industries
WHAT IS IT?!
Art Attack is an original artwork challenge presented nationally by Paul Frank Industries (PFI) that will occur throughout this year with a HUGE grand prize for one lucky enterprising artist! All types of artists are called to action in this unique, creative contest. No matter the medium, everyone has a chance to showcase his or her skill. (photography, painting, mixed media, drawing, sculpture, illustration, collage, craft).
WHAT’S IN STORE?!
Paul Frank Industries will award the winning artist with the following: twenty-five hundred dollars ($2,500) toward art supplies, a Paul Frank ad showcasing the winner’s final Paul Frank designed piece in Juxtapoz magazine and THEME magazine and other goodies!
WHAT DO I DO?!
Go to paulfrank.com. Each contestant can upload the one (1) image that represents their true craft the best and let the world vote on them. Each user can vote on an entry only once, giving it between 1 and 5 Julius points. The art/design with the most points will make it to the final round! (monkey or no monkey, this is all about YOU!)
Upload your hi-resolution entry in JPEG format, but be careful not to exceed 2 mb...because nobody wants to wait for your image to load!
Within 48 hours and per PFI review, your art will appear on Paul Frank and you can start the campaigning!
WHEN DOES IT START?!
The Art Attack contest start date: March 15, 2010 and will accept submissions until July 12, 2010. Paul Frank will announce the top five (5) finalists, who have the ultimate chance to make it the top!
****There will be two stages of voting. The first stage will allow up to five contestants to move ahead into the next level, those five will then receive Julius’ iconic head to incorporate it in their artwork. Users will have a chance to vote for the artist of their choice (this will help facilitate the artist’s chances of winning). Paul Frank Industries will decided which lucky artist wins the GRAND PRIZE!!!
