With so many fun groups for our precious pets on flickr, it's hard to lose sight of your extra special pet photos.

There are many of us with photos of special pets that have reached 500+ views.

This group is here to showcase these 500+ view treasured photos.





Allowed animals are:
cats, dogs, bunnies, pigs, horses, hamsters. mice, ratties, your pets that have gone over the rainbow, your bird in a cage, and any others that are pet related. Of course, neighborhood animals are allowed, too!

Photoshopped pet photos, fun photos made using fd's flickr toys, or any other internet site used to create your photo is OK as long as it is a pet's photo with 500+ views.

Sorry, we cannot accept your photos of fish, frogs, lizards, spiders, snakes, or reptiles of any kind in this group. There are plenty of other groups for these pics.

Rules:

#1) Only photos with an invitation can appear in the pool.
#2) Post photos in the pool that have been invited and be sure to add the tag pet500.
#3) Of course, you and your friends can invite each other's pet photos with 500+ views to the group.
#4) No warnings of deletion*, if your photo does not have 500+ views, it will be deleted.
#5) If you violate #1, the administrators will ask you to leave after 3 warnings.*
#6) Please take the time and post a comment on the photo before yours. It is a courtesy and a very important rule to follow.
#7) Lastly, have fun looking for fellow flickrites with photos of their pets and invite them to join in the fun.
#8) Your photo will never have to leave this group as long as you follow the rules. This is a showcase for all of your pet's photos with 500+ views...

It is important to note... photos that do not meet the criteria will be automatically removed without any notice.

This group is for pictures that are invited only!
1st Offense ~ Removal of uninvited photo.
2nd Offense ~ Removal of Member and uninvited photo.
3rd Offense ~ Member banned from group.

Do not remove your photo from the group and re-post it. This will not be tolerated. Your photo will be removed without warning and you will be banned from the group.

There is a daily posting limit of 5 photos. This is to avoid flooding the group with one person's photos.



Exceptions for posting:

Unfortunately, the administrator cannot allow the posting of photos of:

- stuffed creatures and children's toys without a pet in the photo
- or -
- zoo animals or animals in public amusement parks unless you own the zoo or the park
- or -
- wild animals found at the beach, animals or fish found in the oceans or seas, those wild animals found in the mountains, or birds (or whatever it is) flying in the sky, etc.

This is because these creatures are not owned by you, your neighbors, or any of your family members.

Pet birds that are living outside are allowed when they are your chickens, ducks, swans, geese...

There is to be NO NUDITY as this is a family friendly group.

However, photos with people (including family members, neighbors, or friends) and their pets are allowed. Just remember that the people appearing in the photo must be properly dressed.


There is to be NO SWEARING , NO TROLLS , and NO PORN .

No photos which show violence, political debate, or describe opinions against flickr.


Lastly, it must be your photo. There will be NO TOLERANCE for stolen photos from the internet or other sources. Please post only your original photos.

If the photo you post is a stolen photo, you will be banned from posting here in the group. This policy follows flickr's community guidelines.

Remember: When your photo has had 500+ views today, has received an invitation to join this group, and you have posted your daily limit of 5 photos, please don't become unhappy. Just wait until tomorrow to post your photo here.

In fact, if this happens, this group's administrator welcomes you to post your photo here tomorrow!
