North East England

North East England is composed of four regions, all of which can be looked up on the
North East England website:

Northumberland

County Durham

Newcastle/Gateshead, Sunderland, North Tyneside, and South Tyneside

Tees Valley

Images from the Scottish Borders, the Cumbrian border and North Yorkshire will also be accepted, however try not to send images of the Lake District, Cumbria and Scotland as there are dedicated groups to these parts of the world.

From wonderful coastlines to wild moorlands; small villages to bustling cosmopolitan cities, there is something for everyone in the North East. The people in the North East are renowned for their warmth and hospitality.

There is plenty to see and do in the North East and also plenty things to photograph. Please share with us your perspective of the North East whether you live and work here or are a visitor; let us celebrate this beautiful part of the world.
