This bloke is an idiot. Custom Photography has no idea how to build a business. While I am not a good photographer I do know what is and is not good business and this fool has just shot himself in the foot.

Just post the link of his page
www.facebook.com/pages/Custom-Photographics/202319296463635
to your own page and put a nice message explaining how he is stealing other peoples images. It will get around.

Yeah he's been reported a ton of times so I'd imagine the page wont exist much longer, FB usually takes a few days to follow up copyright infringements.

well this thread is now on the web site that we all clicked on. he has now taken down all the pics from others and replaced with his rugby pics. wow, not as good as before. whole lotta trouble he has gotten himself into. not to mention all the bad publicity!
oh and he's an ex kiwi fire fighter who decided to make money from being a pro photog. good luck with that mate!!!

Yay ! Stolen photos appear to have all been taken down. Result.

A win for all the photographers who were ripped off. And win for everyone who gave him a hard time.

He copped a bit of a trashing on this website publishing some of his responses:-

www.nzraw.co.nz/review/custom-photographics-sucks/

The newspaper in his home town in NZ has contacted him and is considering an article exposing him and showing the power of the photographic community to pressure this guy to do the right thing.

btw this PIP discussion is linked in the article so remember that your posts here could become very public.

ROLF that's the funniest facebook info description for a photography business page I've ever seen.

from memory he was into taking rugby photos and I think he was/is in fire brigade so likely his images.

Chris J. Bartle  Pro User  says:

Its almost like saying "I don't beat my wife any more" a confession of being a wife basher in the past. That opening line is simply a confession to past wrong doings, he would be well advised to drop the whole thing for he has blotted his copy book so badly that the stigma will more likely than not never go. What a joke, and to top it off his skills as a photographer have fallen dramatically since he stopped claiming the work of others. Unless he is after all that motion blur he needs a faster shutter speed and he needs to change his position on the field if possible to get better shadows.

I don't mind the rugby but I got told off last time I tried to take in a 300mm zoom - the shots came out okay, even from where I was sitting in the heavens...not as good as Mr Loudon's though :|
