PIP does Perth - Tues arvo/evening drinks and Photowalk - EVERY TUESDAY

view profile

jeremyjhall is a group administrator jeremyjhall  Pro User  says:

A bunch of us are now meeting every Tuesday night (in a different exciting location every week!) for a bit of a wander, chat, drink, and a few photos.

To see what the current 'plans' are - just skip directly to the last few posts in this thread.

This is by no means an exclusive thing, and we would love some fresh faces. We are all pretty sick of each other anyway :)

And, over 500 1800 posts later.. here's the original post for posterity :

I'm heading into the city tomorrow afternoon to go to an opening night (at 6:30) at central park.

I was planning on bringing my camera and going in a bit early to take some snaps around the city; anyone interested in meeting up?

nixter's and nikki's show at Cranked Cafe was definitely worth the visit.

although you've now missed the flaming nipples, the fantastic work is still up on the wall so for anyone who was thinking about taking a look, you'll be sorry if you don't.

For the sake actually getting a meet point sorted how about meet the Kanagroo's outside the Supreme Court gardens on st georges terrace at 4:30.
maps.google.com.au/?ie=UTF8&ll=-31.95594,115.860239&a...

From there will can walk in a totally disorganised fashion around the streets somewhere to meet at the Perth Mint (310 Haystreet) at 5:30 for the people coming down later.
maps.google.com.au/?ie=UTF8&ll=-31.957679,115.869589&...

Then we can head in the general direction of the queen gardens to shoot some ducks, head north to walk past the east perth Cemetery and end up at Royal Street along the river.

We can finish it up at the Royal Bar (60 Royal Street) for drinks or the numerous places for food.

maps.google.com.au/?ie=UTF8&ll=-31.953145,115.878119&...

Sound good?
