Perspective

Basically it’s a themed photography group where each week the winner of the previous theme will pick a topic and judge it. It's a combination of various other groups.

The idea is to generate creativity and keep it fun.

This group is open for all. The rules are simple.

1. Interpretation of the theme depends on each person.
2. Enter only a photo that fits the theme all other photos will be deleted.
3. Only one entry per member is accepted.
4. Theme Selection can include rules but photo can be picked from archive and does not have to be shot in that particular week though it is recommended.
5. Submitted photos must be added to the pool and tagged with each week’s code.
6. Everyone is welcome to comment on submitted photos.
7. Discussion topics can be opened by anyone.
8. Judges decisions are final and will not be changed.
9. As winners are the judge, they are not allowed to take part in the topic they are judging but are welcome to take part in the next one.
10. NO NUDITY (unless tastefully taken and not offensive) or PORN, this is a family friendly group. Any photo deemed to be patently offensive will be removed and the member so posting can be banned.
11. Abusive comments or misusage of the discussion board will result in being banned from the group. Please give constructive criticism that do not hurt or put down another.
12. Anyone can take part regardless of what camera you use but graphic computer generated images are not allowed as this is a photography group.
13. Photos submitted after Wednesday will not be judged.



Each Theme
1. Submissions begin on Friday and ends on Wednesday
2. The Judge must announce the winner on Thursday.
3. Winners must submit their topics by Friday.
4. In the unavailability of the winner to do so, the second runner up will submit and judge the next topic.


Judging Criteria
1. Choose a theme based on a word or phrase.
2. Open a discussion topic on the theme.
3. Do not limit the interpretation of the theme to one location (eg Malaysia) or a set of rules.
4. You can of course give guidelines and examples to the theme.
5. Do not specify camera make, lens or photography style (eg : HDR)
6. Judge based on theme suitability, creativity, composition and depth.
7. Do not judge based on technique or lens used.
8. Do not judge based on popularity.
9. Choose three top places (1,2,3), you may also choose Special Mentions.
