About Personal Landmark

"Personal Landmark" -from your eye to our eye- is a research and collaborative art project.

A city will give rise to landmarks that become icons representing its identity and its history. Icons, such as monuments, buildings, parks and bridges tell us a particular stories about a city and what it might be. However these particular stories are told to us, they are not told by us, they do not capture personal narratives. This project explores how, as individuals, we might frame our own Personal Landmarks.

My name is Hiroka Nakano and I'm doing the project as a part of my MA in Creative Practice for Narrative Environment Central Saint Martins in London.
