About Perfect Panoramas - 2000 x 600 minimum, no borders, no signature
Perfect Panoramas is a public group for showcasing your very best stitched panoramic images.
Please take the time to read our rules, your images will be deleted without warning if you do not comply with the six basic rules:
RULE 1. Your submission MUST be a stitched panoramic image. i.e., a series of images stitched perfectly together into one large panorama
RULE 2. You may only post 1 image a week please
RULE 3. You MUST tag your images "perfect panoramas" those submissions without the correct tag are subject to deletion at an administrators’ discretion. Repeat offenders beware!
RULE 4. Your submission MUST be at least 2000 pixels wide along its longest edge and 600 pixels along its shortest.
To be explicit - submissions made at:
1999 x 600 will be REJECTED
2000 x 599 will be REJECTED
2000 x 600 and above will be ACCEPTED
This image has to be visible to all members of the Perfect Panorama group: for this, either include a link to the full size image (file name ending in _o.jpg) or adjust your image permissions. Failure to comply with this rule will result in banning (see note on banning below).
RULE 5. Submissions must not have borders or frames of any kind; very discreet watermarks are allowed at an administrators’ discretion - in practice this means almost all signatures are rejected. Failure to comply with this rule will result in banning (see note on banning below).
RULE 6. You MUST read the rest of the rules!....
In the Perfect Panorama group we strive for.... "perfect panoramas". Your submission will be assessed for quality by a PP admin. This means that panoramas containing stitching artifacts, colour banding and uncropped - missing image information will all be deleted from the pool.
Please note: If an image is thought to be unacceptable for any reason by a group administrator, it will be removed until proof is provided via a polite comment in the relevant deletions thread.

Below is an example of the kind of image that is likely to stay in the group...
There are no limits on how many images make up a panorama, only 2 images? that's fine... as long as they are perfectly stitched. Please try to add technical information to your descriptions or in your comments. This group is intended for pano geeks... we love your nerdy info!

Banning. If you submit an image that does not comply with the rules that are in the group's name (see above) then you may be banned from the group. This is not meant as an insult to you and is not done from an aggressive standpoint, merely that it is a clear indicator to you that you need to be more careful with at least the basic rules. If you ask to be reinstated as a member then that will be done cheerfully. Please try not to make unnecessary work for the moderators.
