Does anyone know of some famous portrait photographers?

I am doing a series for my final. I am thinking about doing portraits or fast shutter speed (not sure yet) but I need to write a proposal and write something abot a famous photographer, hence my question above.

Thanks

Erin

I did a paper on Chase Jarvis last year. On Lifestyle not portraiture, but found that there was a lot of information on him, plus he keeps his blog pretty up to date which helps.( blog.chasejarvis.com/blog/ )
From what I hear he is a pretty nice guy as well, I am sure if you ask him nicely he might let you do a quick (very quick since I'm sure he is immensly busy) instant message interview.

Good luck!

Hamish Brown: made some famous portraits of footballer louis Figo !

I hope this helps

People in the art photography world seem to hold their nose up to David Bailey, yet he took great shots of people and was one of the generation in the 60s that pushed things forward.

There is also Rankin
