08 Mar 09 - Hello!! Thanks for joining!! This group is really special to me as it is a meeting place for all my favourite "Flickr Folk". My hope is that we can all get to know each other a little better, and that everyone will share all the beautiful work that I know is going to be on display!! At present I am restricting membership to my friends and contacts, so I would ask you not issue any invitations yet! When once you are a member, you do not need an invitation to post, so please post away!!

About Penny'sPeople

I picture this group as a large "Rumpus Room" into which I have invited all my friends for a get-together! It's a place to share your work, your thoughts, and your feelings if you choose to! Please feel free to add 2 or 3 images to the pool a day, and have a look at all the other work on display.

I'm not making any commenting rules because, knowing you all as I do, I would be very surprised if the comments didn't just flow easily, naturally and generously! Please don't invite any other folks to join us - I really want this to be a small close knit group for now!

Please also start up any discussion threads you would like to - let's just stay away from potentially confrontational stuff, or anything that might offend or hurt anyone's feelings! Let's keep the party clean and happy!!

If this takes off and develops - and I really hope it does - we can start thinking about adding bells and whistles like little contests and games and things - please add any ideas you have to make this fun and comfortable!!

I'm really looking forward to sharing and enjoying with each of you!
