03 Apr 09 - IMPORTANT NOTICE
A number of users are posting images that are not tagged or are not on topic. This wastes a lot of my time dealing with off topic posts and non tagged images. Everyone received and agreed to the group rules as a condition of joining. It is with great sadness I institute the following policy:

1) Improperly tagged photos will be automatically deleted, with no notice.
2) Anyone posting off topic or failing to tag their images three times will be banned from the group.

About Panasonic Digital Photographers (Nature and Wildlife)

The PDP(NW) group is a group dedicated to Nature and Wildlife photography using the Panasonic line of cameras. All Nature, Wildlife, Flora, Fauna, Natural Landscapes, Scenics, Macros, Close Up, and Panoramic digital photo images of nature or wildlife, taken with a Panasonic camera, are welcome.

Objects considered to be of "Hand of Man", should not be the focus of the picture. IF man made objects are included, they should be limited to those things that are of historic status, such as old lighthouses, old log cabins, barns, water mills, fence posts etc., and they should not be the primary subject of the photo. Photos determined to be primarily about a man made subject will be removed from the pool.

Please do not post photos of your family, pets, people, domesticated animals, cultivated items such as flowers from a garden or florist, cityscapes, houses, buildings, planes, automobiles, boats, other conveyances, nudes or partial nudes. Animals should be shown in their native habitats, not in zoos. If you must post zoo pictures, please ensure that the enclosures are not visible. Photos in which the subject is clearly not nature or wildlife, and obvious zoo pictures, will be removed from the pool.

Posted photos must be tagged with PDP(NW) Failure to properly tag your photos may be grounds for removal of the photo from the pool.

Quality of the photograph should also be a consideration. Please share your best work with the group. Remember the purpose of this group is to showcase your abilities and those of the Panasonic line of cameras. Photos judged to be of poor quality may be removed from the pool.

Members are limited to three photos per day, so please be sure to post only your best. Comments are not required, but are strongly encouraged. A group is only as vibrant as the participation of it's members.

We have only three rules:
1. All images posted to this group must be of good quality and on topic.
2. All images posted to this group must be taken with a Panasonic Digital camera
3. Prior to posting be sure to add the tag PDP(NW) to your photo

That is it. Beyond these rules, we have no others. Just fine photographic images of nature, taken with the Panasonic line of cameras, that we wish to share with others. Thanks and enjoy.
