About Printed Circuit Boards

Photos exploring the beauty of printed circuit boards and electronic components. This includes PCBs using surface mount and through-hole construction techniques, CAD layout drawings, boards in various stages of fabrication, disassembled computer or electronics junk, and art inspired by printed circuit boards (and vice versa).

What is a printed circuit board? A printed circuit board (or PCB) is an object that facilitates wiring an electrical circuit by using conductive (usually copper) traces on an insulating (usually fiberglass-based) substrate that also provides structural stability. For more information check out Printed Circuit Board on Wikipedia.
