About Pennsylvania War Memorials
Just about every town, county and community in Pennsylvania has a war memorial. Some are for all veterans, some are for specific wars. Some list the names of people from that particular community who fought or died from the particular community.
That’s what we want to see here. If you have a war memorial in your town, or you know of one, or even if you happen to drive past one, stop and get a picture for all of us to see.
This is not the place to post pictures of: veterans’ graves, monuments to specific war heroes (except those that are part of a larger community war memorial), battlefields, battlefield monuments, etc. There are numerous sites for Gettysburg and the memorials therein. Also, memorials in other states would not be classified as “Pennsylvania War Memorials”.
A war memorial in Gettysburg honoring local area / Adams County veterans who fought in various wars would be acceptable, of course.
