A gallery about a modern kind of pavement blocks
Stolpersteine means stumbling blocks
It is the name of a large European memorial series, reminding of citizens who suffered and/or died due to the Holocaust in the Nazi era between 1933 and 1945.
the memorials are cement paving blocks with a brass cap. The fixed cap of each paving stone bears the inscription which reminds of a person who was deported from a house nearby by German authorities due to Nazi regime's anti-jew, anti-socialist, anti-gay, anti-gipsy and anti-handycapped ideology [moderator edit]... [/edit ]in that past time.
