About The Patrick Hamilton Appreciation Society

Its about.... dark back alleys, tepid beer, smudged mantlepieces, Lyon's Corner Houses, greasy little cafes, the glow form a lone street light, darkness, loneliness, playing golf with crooked clubs and piano-playing white cats...

anything you would find in a Patrick Hamilton novel, or that can be associated with his dark, gloomy, genial writing. Not wanting to steal the thunder from the excellent 20.000 Street under the Sky , which is limited to London images, I believe there's a bit of Hamilton mood in every town or city, but London is by no means excluded!
