About Save the Children Pass it On
Can three bloggers save 4 million lives?
Three mums are travelling to Mozambique with Save the Children on a quest to save four million lives. They will see for themselves how one in ten children don’t make their fifth birthday and what can be done to stop this. Together, they will follow the journey of a vaccine (@MrVaccine on Twitter) from the cold store right down to a remote village.
Armed with this new-found knowledge and passion, the mums will blog and tweet to help put pressure on world leaders who will be attending an international summit on vaccinations in London in June. There is a two billion pound shortfall in funding and if this isn’t met, millions of children will die from easily preventable diseases.
