parent P-L-A-Y (P2) is an event company for parents who – no matter how lucky we feel to be a parent – we’re utterly wiped. P2 events remind us of our pre-parent days, returning to life before spit-ups, sippy cups and spazz-outs.

parent P-L-A-Y events are held in fun and interesting places like nightclubs and comedy clubs. These are the places we used to go before “the human alarm clock” started shouting at 5:30am.

P2 parents are socially active and open to new ideas. They want to meet other parents. They want to keep their edge. They’re eclectic, smart, interested in the latest/greatest products, toys and gear for their kids. They want to check out new venues and they want to spend time with their kids after a long week at work - but it really helps that the P2 Babysitting Crew is there to help, along with a myriad of entertainers and musicians.

P2 stands out because our moms and dads generally attend these events together — which helps parents return to a time when they had dates and did fun things together. The only difference is that these dates take place at 9am on a Saturday or Sunday. While there are plenty of mommy and me classes or disco dancing with junior, there is really nothing else like this. At parent P-L-A-Y, we discourage conversations about toddler tantrums and school politics. Would you discuss that if you were out with another couple one evening? Hopefully not. P2 events are organized with one thing in mind: Parental FUN and RELAXATION. We want our parents to leave feeling restored and ready to return to parenting.
