About Panoramas from movies
Panoramas made from frames of scenes shot with panning or tilting techniques.
Nowadays, panoramic images are easily available by image stitching and sometimes wide angle lenses are enough to get the subject in one image. We can also make a panorama from frames of a movie where the camera was rotated to show all the scene (panning and tilting). Evidently, panoramas from still images have more quality, so this method has more sense with old movies because:
- The subject has disappeared.
- Or the scene has a historic value.
- And they are of public domain.
