About PANNING SHOTS ONLY THE BEST
If you thought I was tough judging whether a photo should be on PANNING SHOTS ONLY, it's time to kick that up a notch.
This group is for really successful panning shots. I'm looking for:
Sharp subjects.
High panning ratios.
Obvious panning effect. If the background is out of focus, it is not helping the panning effect.
No zooming.
No flash.
I'm going to err on the side of rejecting submissions. This group is about quality, not quantity.
You all know that color cutouts and extreme camera tilts annoy me, so submit accordingly. :-)
You want to submit stuff better than I can shoot.
Comments on shots are welcome. I'd like to see those comments about the panning and the panning technique, but friendly tangential comments are always welcome.
To really know if I'm looking at greatness, I need to see high-resolution photos. Yes, I want to see the original size. If you are worried about piracy, feel free to lock out copying or to put on a watermark.
