About Palaeoart
Hi folks,
This, then, is the first (so far as I can tell) group exclusively for palaeontological art, so throw all your drawings, sketches, paintings, sculptures of all things glorious and extinct in here. There's no restriction on subject matter with the exception that it's somehow related to palaeontology, so stick in all your piccies of gorgonopsids, dinosaurs, ammonites, erm... I don't know... graptolites, brachiopods...maybe the odd pterosaur...
Bottom line, as long as it's a life restoration of an extinct animal and not a photograph of a fossil or skeleton in a museum, it can be dumped in here. What's more, it doesn't have to be a 'realistic' picture, either: as long as the subject matter is recognisably palaeontological, your image can be as abstract as you like.
